I’ve been writing since I could hold a pencil. And once I learned how I could turn my writing into a career when I was about 20 years old, I haven’t stopped working towards just that.
From notes and letters to my family in elementary school to blog posts, websites, newsletters, and even novels, I’ve expanded my skills with each new phase of my writing journey.
This didn’t all come so easy, though…writing is hard! And I started from scratch with everything. That meant writing bad blog posts, getting harsh feedback, and struggling to understand what made good content. But with each new piece I wrote and new job I had and new mentors I learned from, I continued to improve.
In reflecting on my writing career, I couldn’t help but think about how I wished there was one place I could have gone to for all of the guidance and advice and knowledge that could have facilitated my improvement. And with that, my business, Robin Writers LLC, was born.
I now provide educational and inspirational resources to my fellow freelance writers through my blog, social media content, and paid offerings such as an online course, ebooks, and coaching so far. It’s motivating and fulfilling to interact with other writers every day and learn from each other.
Between my freelance writing and my work with Robin Writers, I am thrilled every day to make even a small positive impact to someone through my words, marketing knowledge, and creativity.
